FLR for wife and registering as BC for new born

Hello again, As in previous thread, I am due for ILR in end Nov/ beginning of Dec, 2013. My wife joined me in UK on 15th June, 2012 and her visa valid till 26/01/2014 (same as mine). I will be applying for ILR while my wife will apply for FLR and qualify for ILR in June, 2014. We are expecting a bab...

When to apply?

Hello all, Hope you are all well. I am sure this question is been asked time and again. I have asked this question earlier, yet need a final confirmation please. Hope you'd appreciate my anxiety and help me please. My initial T1G was approved on 27/12/2008. I entered UK on 22/01/2009. Now that I ent...

Thanks Amber. My wife originally came to UK on 15th June, 2012 as my dependent. Originally she would've qualified for ILR on 15th June, 2014. Now that she is away for 6.5 months, can she apply for ILR on 15th June, 2014 or does she have to compensate for the time she was away from UK in order to qua...

Hello, I am on a similar situation too. I am T1G due for ILR first week of Dec, 13. My wife had left for India on 3rd July, 2013 for child birth and she is on dependent visa with rules in place before 9th July, 2012 and visa valid till 26.01.2014. Child birth due date is in October, 2013. I am plann...

Hi Anees, Thanks for the update mate. I would wait for the final announcement before getting too happy or sad. Who on earth would want to prove during entry clearance and again for ILR and again with clear mention in LIUK pass certificate that no further proof is required, I seriously suspect, if en...

But India143, not paying tax is totally outrageous. We tax payers look like a joke now. IMO, you should be denied ILR.

Can someone provide contact details to get in touch with Home Office?

I am planning to write to them seeking clarification with a copy to my local MP.

Any suggestions are welcome.

I have had a re-look at the UKBA website and the document itself. There is a statement which says as an example (not in exact words) that tier 2 applicants who has proven as part of initial application need not have to prove again. My prudence dictates that the same would imply for Tier 1 as well. 1...

Clerical/ administrative error maybe. Not worth finding the root cause as we as immigrants are at the receiving end. Personally, I would, with a positive hope would give my biometrics for the second and hope they would not mess up again. It sounds like you went through postal and I am afraid, this m...

In my opinion, employers who have had prior experience with dealing with immigrants intensively (eg: IBM, Centrica etc.,) would presumably understand your situation or even if you in a very specialist job, companies would go that extra mile to check themselves regarding your eligibility. Small compa...

Thanks D4109125. I am slightly concerned to notice from other threads on similar subject that if, for some reason I could not find an appointment for Dec, 42 days prior to the date, then should I wait hoping there would be cancellations or anticipate the next date will open up. What if I wait for 42...
