Every April your employer requests the "Annual allocations" of COS. Means they request for the number of COS they need for the next year. I assume they are run out of COS now. All they have to do now is to request an "Increase in COS allocation" This will take about 2-3 weeks st...

Tier-2 Maintainance & Attributes for out of time applica

Hi Forum, Grateful if you can advice on the below. My Tier-2 general (switching from PSW applying form within UK) was refused in January. I then appealed immediately however the appeal was eventually dismissed last week. I am now making a fresh, out of time, application. Now considering the latest c...

When did your company apply for their sponsor licence? As long as the paperwork is in order, it can take as little as 4 weeks. If a single document is uncertified or not original, this will delay the process. If the documents supporting the sponsor licence application are not in order there is also...

I'm in the same boat- 2 weeks left on visa and no licence in sight. The problem is compounded by the 'cooling off period' announced recently, according to which, you wouldn't be able to apply for tier 2 from outside the UK, if your most recent ltr was tier 2. There is no such thing as a temporary e...

Employer's Sponsorship Licence Delayed

Hi, Can anyone advice on plan-B if the sponsorship licence is delayed for longer time than the current leave expiry? If the visa is expiring 10th of May and Homeoffice has informed that there is a good chance that it can take more time for the sponsorship licence to be issued than that, what is best...

I am not entirely sire on this but job code is just a reference and it is highly unlikely that 2 jobs have the same job code. your first preference would be to look for the job title and description that most closely matches yours and select that one and then make sure your salary matches or exceeds...

Whatever Job code you select form the code of practice list your salary must match the salary you are earning. If you are earning less than the job code you selected from the list your application will be rejected straight away. So if the job code you selected is priced at 23k and you are earning 20...

As long as she has chosen a job titile that closely matches your and has mentioned in the CoS and that role has a salary that matches your current , it should be fine. Any changes you want to make must be made before the decision is made by HO.

3131 is a generic category. They are most probably going to get back to your HR before making a decision and ask her to edit the CoS to specify the role within 3131 list that exactly or closely matches your job title. The role your HR selects must match the salary you're earning right now (or it can...

On the 21st December, UKBA refused my visa as the CoS used on the application was wrong. They gave me right to ...

koolguykvs - you are confusing matters. If the OP appeals he will continue to have leave until his appeal rights are exhausted (by virtue of para 3C). therefore he can if he chooses, appeal, and if this fails, make an out of time application after his appeal rights are exhausted. Thanks Greenie, Th...

Thanks for your response.
My PSW has already expired so I cannot make a fresh application. If my employer agrees to raise my salary to £27,000 before the hearing, would that be considered in the appeal.
