Re: Refund of EEA visa

It sounds like you did indeed pay for a family settlement visa, which is £1195 + £600 NHS surcharge. Who did you speak to exactly? Was it an agent who charged a fee to do the application for you?? The EEA family permit is free :!: Are you trying to join a family member in the UK? What is their natio...

Where and when were you born :?: On 1 January 1983, upon the coming into force of the British Nationality Act 1981, every citizen of the United Kingdom and colonies became either a British citizen, British Dependent Territories citizen or British Overseas citizen. Use of the term British subject was...

A DCPR expires after 10 years. My DCPR does not have an expiration date :o I'm not sure what OP has. But DCPR will still expire in 10 years: http://www.eearegulations.co.uk/Archive/V20150406 3-18-(5) Ah yes - permanent residence card for non-EEA family members lasts 10 years, as the security featur...

Re: After DCPR issued do I have to wait 12 months for BC?

You can't claim your PR date . Trust me - I tried and it didn't work. Actually, HO gave me PR date which was even earlier than I expected so it all worked out good for me. DCPR does not show the date you acquired PR - only the date the document was issued. By the design of how PR works, the document...

Re: Permanent Residence Card rejected

Appeals can take 1 year or more and cost more than the £65 fee for the application. Why are you so determined to appeal rather than simply applying again? If your application was refused due to not providing the correct documentation, I don't understand why you would want to appeal against their dec...

Re: Dual citizenship and expired UK passport querry

In short, yes she can. She would probably be better off travelling to the UK using her Australian passport and then presenting herself as a British citizen at the UK border. Even though her UK passport is expired, a British citizen cannot be denied entry to the UK.

Re: Permanent Residence Card rejected

The massive increase in appeal fees has been reversed. https://www.freemovement.org.uk/government-reverses-immigration-tribunal-fee-increases/ Regardless, it's far cheaper and faster to simply apply again. I don't see how you can appeal or ask for reconsideration if it was your fault for not providi...

Re: I CAN'T RECEIVE RC AT HOME

Royal Mail will not attempt to redeliver it unless you pay to arrange a redelivery. They'll just hold it at the sorting office for a certain amount of time (I think it's 18 days for standard signed for post) and if it hasn't been collected by then, they will return it to the sender.

Denmark has permitted multiple citizenship since 2014, so there's no issue there.

Is £12,000 your current salary in the UK? As Casa mentioned above, FLR(M) has a minimum earning threshold of £18,600. How much does your wife earn?

Re: Refund of EEA visa

What did you intend to apply for, and what did you actually apply for?

The cost difference between an EEA family permit and (for example) a spouse settlement visa is fairly substantial.

I will prepare my son's documentation then - I don't want Theresa May messing with any rules next April!! Even when changes are made, they rarely have retrospective effect. If you look at the wording in of the British Nationality Act 1981 it almost always says "A person born in the United King...

They are of course very busy, but still aim to process applications within 6 months. Try contacting UKVI for an update and if you have no luck, as your MP to get involved.
