Re: Return BRP after Citizenship Ceremony within 5 days

I would have thought one envelope would be adequate since you are meant to include a cover letter. In your cover letter, explain it is for your self., wife and child. Again, if you want to spend extra money unnecessarily, you can use three separate envelopes but i would i use just if i was in your ...

Re: Return BRP after Citizenship Ceremony within 5 days

Thank for your reply @Casa. I've another question (may be silly), is it OK to send all (mine, wife's, and our child's) the BRPs in one envelope or do I need to send them separately?

Thanks.

Is this 5 working days? I've had my ceremony last Tuesday and I completely forgot about this. Is that OK if I send it today? Thanks

I've called Record Retrieval service today to check the status. They wouldn't tell me anything. They asked to call another number (03000560629) which is NI records dept. The lady I spoke have told me that home office accepts whatever the document they send (NI contributions) and they are getting lot...

10 year work history - no update from HMRC

Hi,

I've requested for my 10 year work history from HMRC about 5/6 weeks ago and haven't received anything yet. If someone has applied previously, how long did it take for you? Is there any contact number / email to check the status of the same?

Thanks,

Ram

Re: New sticker rule for OCI (Overseas Citizenship of India)

Hello,

I'm in the same situation. Do you have any more information on this? I read somewhere (in USA) that OCI stickers are discarded i.e., nothing to add to the passport, only OCI card. I don't know whether this is same in UK.

Thanks

Take all the documents to VFS along with photocopies (that is what I've done). They will ask/take whatever they want. They didn't take our marriage certificate.

Thanks akhurshid.

I've never thought about this actually. I will wait for 3 months before applying for child benefit. I don't want to take risk for that extra £100+ .

Thanks again.

Hello, I am applying for my son's BC using MN1 form. Do I need to send the original BRP cards (mine and my wife's) or just photocopies enough? Register my child as BC

Hello All,

I've got my ILR approved along with my wife and daughter on 06.01 and received BRPs as well. My daughter (3 yrs old) was born in India and holds India passport. Do I need to wait 1 year before registering my daughter as I do? Or, can I register her now?

Thanks in advance.
