I did attach savings account statement to show a bit of balance for support however there's no such requirement of maintenance for ILR.

As long as the leave doesn't exceed 180 days.. it should be fine and wont break 5 years continuous period.

yes you can apply 28 days before your visa stamp date as you arrived in UK within 90 days of your 1st visa. There are many posts on this topic.
