references

Hello

I was wondering about Citizenship references; is a spouse allowed to be a reference? or does it need to be 3 Irish citizens NOT related to you?

Cheers

travelling between citizenship and passport

morning

I was wondering if it is possible to travel on my canadian passport after becoming a citizen but before I've applied for my irish passport. Can I bring my citizenship papers with me or would I need to wait until I received my irish passport?

Many thanks

Is EEA4 neccessary?

Morning! I was curious to know if it is neccessary for me to go through the EEA4 route after the 5 years Residency. The reason i ask, is while my EEA2 will expire July 2017, I will be applying for Irish citizenship in Nov 2017 through marriage. Our company HR dept told me once I was married, no furt...

this may be a strange one...

I am on an EEA2 res card. I am married to an Irishman living in Belfast. Am I able to apply for jobs in ROI or am I only allowed to work in NI unless both my husband and I move to the south?

Many Thanks.

no, I had applied for EEA 1 and 2 based on durable partnership with partner in full time premanent employment. I had been living in ROI for 2 years before moving to the UK.

Sorry about 'UK Medicards'. The nidirect website stated I would need a medical card. got the name mixed up.

Thank you for your help. I will register with a GP and apply for a new EHIC.

Alpha_1 that's all you need man but i think just attached your p21 as a extra supporting document bcos your wife's dependent on you. @Malika..i don't think so that dependent person needs to wait another 3 years to gets his/her citizenship.. doubtful this is from www.inis.gov.ie Q. Can my spouse and...

EHIC vs UK medicard

Good evening

I was wondering if anyone had insight regarding EHIC vs UK medicards. I have recently received my Residency Card and hold a EHIC from Ireland valid until 2015. I was wondering if I am still able to use my EHIC or am i required to apply for a Medicard and sign on with a doctor?

Hi Zubby, My first application was returned due to my partner not submitting enough evidence. That is what the letter said at any rate. Everything that the refusal letter stated we should send to support our application was already in our application. Our entire application process was wrought with ...

RC on A4 paper

I will be receiving my RC on a sheet of a4 paper. I would like to know if I am able to cut the paper to size (to fit in my wallet easier) or does the RC need to remain a4 size? I do remeber reading that laminating will void the RC.

Thank you

I'm curious as to where the OP was born. It's easy to assume NI but confirmation would be best to give the best advice. (Just to rule out any mccarthy-like issues)

urgent prioriry reply times

Good morning. I sent a letter last Monday (July 2) requesting urgent priority. Has anyone requested U.P.? Was a reply received and if so, how long did the reply take? As I only sent the request a week ago, I suspect it will be a few weeks before I hear anything.

Thank you in advance

unmarried rc and changing names

Good evening, I have applied for an EEA2 RC as an unmarried partner. My partner and I are getting married in the next two years. Would I need to reapply for a new RC with my married name? I will need to renew my passport in 2015 and was planning on my married name being on my passport. I would like ...

I have blocked all of my details from the letter. It was just the generic body of the letter.
