Dear Member, My spouse and I are applying for Naturalisation through NCS next week and I am not sure what will be the best method of payment for application fee. We had a horrible experience when extending our HSMP visa few years back, Home Office sent our application back unprocessed after a few we...
Congratulations, a very happy day for you indeed :) Would you please tell me how many of those absences were in the last 12 months ? I am concerned about mine as it may need to go above the 90 days limit for work reasons. Many thanks. Regards, Most of my abscences were in the year before my ILR i a...
in normal terms if you exceed out of the UK by 30 days, why don't you delay your application by 30 days so that absence returns within threshold and you don't need to rely on any discretion? you need to apply once you qualify - unlike ILR no advance submission is allowed here. Thanks for your reply...

Dear Members, Moderators and Gurus, I got my ILR through HSMP + Tier 1 in July 2012 and I am eligible to apply for naturalisation in June. I meet all requirements and since July 2012 have been outside UK for 6 weeks only and have 1.5 months left. My company wants to send me overseas - not my native ...

I would like to share my good news with you all and give everyone waiting a glimmer of hope, this forum has helped me enormously. I applied for ILR on 06 June 2012 at Croydon PEO via premium service after 5 years ( 2 years HSMP + 3 years Tier 1 General ) as a director of a limited company. Everythi...
Congrats for getting ILR. Even I do have a similar situation where I have a single absence of 94 days outside uk, but this was not for any business trip. Do you think this will be considered as well ? Thanks a lot. Well, they say they may disregard the more than 90 days absence if it has been on co...

Madona587, Thanks for your comment. I am not looking for a VIP status or anything like that and I am just amazed at the response I have received here ! I have been reading this forum for the past few months and know that some cases take a lot longer to be resolved. But I have also read about the cas...
Lucapooka, Thanks for taking the time to post a reply, but as I'm sure you know, these are really stressful times for those of us who are awaiting a reply from UKBA. I am in such situation with a lot of pressure from work to travel abroad as well. So if I am asking a question I certainly need advice...
They already have all those documents, given them everything at the PEO and the case worker assured me they do not need any more documents, just that the senior case worker has to have a look and decide.
Hi All, I have applied for ILR at Croydon on June 6th and my case was deferred for senior case worker checks due to one business absence of 95 days. They told me these checks would usually take 3 weeks. Today is 3 weeks from PEO appointment and I have still heard nothing. Because I need to travel fo...
