Certifying Statement as proof of English language ability?

Hi there, I took the CPE exam in 2006 and passed. Unfortunately, I have misplaced my candidate ID number and secret number (but I have my certificate), hence I cannot access my results. It is a bit complicated trying to retrieve the ID and secret number since the centre where I took the exam has lon...

Thanks again. The application form only allows to put the dates of your initial visit. And the only place we can state that I wish to re-enter on more than one occasion is in the invitation letter that my husband will write and in the 'Additional Information' section of the application form. All oth...

Thank you for your reply.

Would 2 months be classed as a short trip? My ties to Russia are a job I have had for almost 3 years and property in my name. Hopefully that should be enough.

Yes I intend to leave England a month after the ceremony. I'm aware that this isn't a settlement visa that's why later on we will be applying for a spouse visa when we feel we are in a better position to get it granted.

Thanks

Thanks Lucapooka. I have one more question if you could help. On the application form it says something along the lines of 'What arrangements have been made for either notification or ceremony of the marriage?' the thing is I have called my local designated register office and they said we have to b...

Thank you, INSIDER! Just an update: I had no problems going through Border Control, I didn't even have to show any documents, the Immigration Officer said that all is fine as long as I understand the conditions of my visa. I have another question, if you will be so kind to advise me again. The next ...

Non UK Based Income While on Fiancee Visa

Hi, We are thinking of applying for a UK fiancée visa in the near future. I currently work from home for an IT company in Russia and they have no problem with me continuing to work for them based in the UK, my question is - is this allowed on a fiancée visa? Re-entry on a UK Visitor Visa

Hi everyone! I was hoping someone could help me. I am Russian and my fiance is British, we have been together for almost 5 years. I was granted a Multi 180 day UK C-Visit Visa in October 2011 and visited my fiance in the UK for one month in Dec-Jan for the Christmas holidays. After I came back, my f...
