Urgent update for all concerned re:Tax Credit

After being granted ILR in Feb I applied for CTC in mid-March this year. Around 3 wks after making that application I then received a letter from HMRC asking me to provide further evidence in support of my CTC claim. Basically they sent me a form to fill in with immigration details and requested to ...

How to get update on MN1 processing?

It's been over 2 months since I applied for my son's BC certificate through form MN1 under section 1(3). It seems taking too long for no obvious reason! I emailed and tried to contact UKBA by telephone for an update but got no reply. They are not providing with any response for any application made ...

If your enquiry is related to SET-O application then photocopy of every single document (except the completed application form itself) is a MUST requirement. The CW will keep the photocopies for his record and return you all the originals.

I couldn't find any question like this on the form. Anyway, I'll tick 'yes' to 1.8 and enclose a letter+copy of passport to clarify the circumstances. Thanks for your reply.

Tax credit application related help- urgent.

I've got ILR last month and now applying for Child TC. Question 1.8 of the form asks if i was 'subject to immigration control in last 3 months'. Technically I should say 'yes' but suspect that it would have unwanted implication on my claim. So how can I clarify to the tax office that now i'm not und...

Read it again. What is said is "... immediately ... is entitled .... ". The entitlement to register is immediate. It's doesn't mean the child must apply immediately. As I said, applying is optional (the child is not forced to become British) and can be made any time until the child is 18....

Re: Urgen MN1 enquiry-please help.

I understand that the guidance says we should apply for our child's registration under section 1(3) 'immediately' after the ILR has been granted. Where did you read he should apply immediately? You can apply immediately if you wish but the decision is yours if and when to apply (as long as the chil...

I have just checked on the HMRC website and cannot spot the answer to your question, to my surprise. So I think you should just send the certificate that you have, and leave them to raise a query if they feel the need. Found the answer here http://www.hmrc.gov.uk/forms/ch2-online-stubb.htm - ''You ...
