Hi, I am Indian on a tier1 visa which is valid upto April2015. My plan is to extend or apply for PR. Today I noticed in my pay slips there has been deductions since May2014 for Pension-AE. I suspect it is due to the auto pension enrolment scheme. I am about to go back to the employer and request to ...

What will I be left with if they process application quickly and reject it?

Could I file a new fresh application?

Re: Arrived to UK on 91st day

Thanks Apam. you are indeed correct that I am not a risk taker but not afraid to do so if it worth to take risk. The purpose of above discussion is to evaluate what options I have got and what is the best way out. Considering Option2b also has Risk and I may left with Appeal but not a fresh reapply ...

Re: Arrived to UK on 91st day

Yes, indeed this forum is very helpful and I will certainly update on what happens with my case to help others.

I have one last doubt still: That is choosing Option2b and being unsuccessful, what will I left with?

Re: Arrived to UK on 91st day

I have spoken to a solicitor and he says I should be fine applying for ILR until I have a job, paying taxes and being good. 1 or 2 days are not a big deal. Dates: First T1 visa for 3years- 23/03/2010 to 23/03/2013 Extension T1 visa for 2years - 07/04/2013 to 07/04/2015 Date of arrival in UK : 22/06/...

Re: Arrived to UK on 91st day

ok I understand now. I am not eligible for this period. So the best I can do is apply for another extension for me and wife. Skip children for extension. My Children have T1 dependent visa and will expire with mine, ie 07 April15. Will UKBA not say that your kids had visa before and now they are sta...

Re: Arrived to UK on 91st day

Thanks Apam, not sure if i can apply for extension or not. Reason is i will need extension in April2015 and it is possible that UKBA will close extensions somewhere in 2014. Secondly it is going to be too expensive, we are family of four and the new fee is about 1600 per person for extension. 1600x4...

Re: Tier1 extension or ILR?

Hi Amber, Appreciate your time and help, it is good to have suggestion from a Guru. My T1 stamp is 23/03/2010 and my date of departure/arrival is 22/06/2010. Which sounds like 3months but because March & May are 31 days the number of days are more than 90. It is the 91st day I departed or arrive...

Re: Tier1 extension or ILR?

Thanks buddy but i don't understand what you mean by "Your Qualifying Period is counted from the start of your visa till the day they make their decision.".

Did you mean my qualifying period starts from 23/03/2010 when i got first T1 stamp? even after entering on 91st day in the UK?
