Re: Citizenship Application for non EEA Citizen based on 6 y

Runie80 - I was in the same situation. If you hold PR (permanent residence) for more than 12 months then you don't have to fill in section 2.4 which is relevant to non-eea family members. However,if you don't have that then you have got to fill this section and evidence showing how you have been exc...

And remember the form is asking for your current passport and not old passport. In your case your current passport is the travel document. Hope this helps and good luck.

Re: sending convention travel document with passport applica

Hi mate, in your case because the travel document is your current document you would use if you were planning to travel, I suggest you use that on the form. Remember a travel document allows you to travel to all countries except in country of origin in most cases so it's like a passport.

Re: General Discussion During Naturalisation Application Pro

So can I travel in between approval and oath ceremony without any issues, will my ILR status still be valid? Of course you can. Just keep in mind these 3 months as I think HO will revoke invitation for naturalization. Sahana6 - to shed some light on what milan69 has said, yes you have 3months in wh...

Re: Do I need to provide evidence of exercising treaty right

nastar - you don't have to fill in this information if you have held your PR for over a year. My case was exactly like yours and I was advised on this forum not to fill in this section as I had PR for 1.5 years. I never got any problems with my application approval. So don't fill in this section as ...

They then told me that they will send me a letter confirming the ceremony details a week prior to the ceremony. So i think that different councils do things d...

Loveislovely, as per your email from HO, they are overwhelmed with applications due to the 28th October deadline so just be patient coz we are all in the same boat.

Good luck to all the October applicants. Very soon all of us will start getting the good news.

Unless you sent your application by yourself and need your pp to be returned asap, I wouldn't worry about HO not responding in a few weeks. Am sure once 28th October is out of the way, HO will start working on all applications recieved before 28th assuming all people applying after 28ths will be bus...

I dont think that there is a caution to declare in your case but wait for other responses. I have seen a similar query on this forum before and the response from the gurus was that there was nothing to disclose to the home office if you were not arrested.

Thanks Jambo for the reference. Actually do you know anyone who has not used an application form but only conformed to the procedure laid out in article 6.3.1?
