Re: Employee vs self employed for ILR

This is fine. Continue as salaried person of your limited company - by getting salary only - you will be much safer than registered as self-employed or mixing your earnings as salary + dividend(this option saves you some money on national insurance), as you will be paying your full tax due every mon...

Re: ILR postal applications (excluding 10/14 yr.)

I think most salaried people in this category are getting ilr within a month - that's why they are not bothering to come on to this site. The problem is with self-employed/limited company cases where they are taking so long to decide (that includes me - waiting since February 3).

Re: Last 1 year Employment History not available HMRC - Urge

Your new employer is lying. Since April 2013 all employers have to submit salary data to HMRC online every month which is called RTI. Ask your employer if he is doing RTI or not?

Re: Tier 1 Extension. No Salary and only dividends?

And it is better to pay some NI as they count towards your state pension contribution. You can also increase your salary and pay some taxes. This will make your case stronger.

Re: Tier 1 Extension. No Salary and only dividends?

As a company director you can decide how much salary you want to take in a month as well as not taking any salary. The accountant has done the right thing. Do not do dividend only, if you do dividend only, your earnings will come only as an investment instead of working for your own company and they...

Hi

I know a case where: Visa was granted in May 2008. They family arrived in July 2008 in the UK. They applied for extension (three years) in April 2010. They were given visa up to May 2013 (instead when they applied and given visa that is April 2010). And I think CW just covered their 5 years there - ...

Re: Croydon PEO - Rejected

My application was rejected with false reason. I was told the letter from HR stateting my salary beak-down of each month with Total Gross Taxable Salary and Form P60 are not valid documents to prove my earnings. The case work was only considering my monthly payslips. There is bit of difference with...

Hi

It seems that the accountant you are hiring is only an affiliate of the ACCA(before he becomes a member). He can not sign your accounts but he can do it on his firms papers but if UKBA verifies and the firm denies it then you may be in problem.
