as long as the absences can be split and are not over 180 days in any 12 month period it should be fine, get a letter from your doctor anyway, it can be dated anytime as long as it mentions the period of illness

you need to have leave for full 5 years on work permit to be eligible for ILR so unfortunatley you will need another extension

Apply by post for an extension and if you dont get a decision by the time you become eligible for ILR then vary your application

If the figures in payslips and bank statements are off even by a penny then you will need a letter from your employer explaining the gaffe. P60s are not required but if y...

Re: ILR Lots of stamps missing in passport- Do UKBA know dat

Also, I spoke to someone at very high up at the Home Office recently who said "if you have stamps missing, we are relying on your honesty".......That sounds promising. Anyone know for sure what records they have? UKBA neither relies on stamps or honesty to calculate absences, they rely on...

She had to leave UK in June 2012 and she returned in June 2013, just short of two weeks from full 1 year. She left UK on valid visa and returned on valid visa. I want to ask that when she ap...

depends on how you break up your 5 one year periods, in any 1 year period, the leaves outside should not exceed 180 days and those leaves should be for a reason in line with your entitlement/work permit in UK for ILR on basis of SET(O), you will have to provide your earnings for the last 1 year befo...

ILR SET(O) would be better as it will require less time to process (and less gotchas for the CW to reject), can be done at a PEO and less paperwork too
