Hi isw_london, so did you apply through a solicitor? if yes,,did you agree that your solicitor should get your posts on behalf you? My solicitor has applied for me, so I don't know she will get it or me,,,as the COA is already despatched.
Hi presid 007, I think you should at least give them 4 weeks(1 month), and don't try to ring them I recommend you to write to them(email) and they will respond to you to at same day(few hours). That's what I did after 4 weeks and they replied email says,,,,your COA has been despatched from office. G...
Hi isw_london, I'm glad you received your COA I hope we will get it soon.
altur, I'm surprised you didn't have a reply(email) from HO.
How long does it take after been despatched from their office? anyway mine would first go to solicitor on Monday hopefully and then she has to post it to me:(
Hi isw_london, if you want to contact HO,I recommend you not to call them but write to them(Email), they will reply to you in same day or the following day with the proper respond(update).
I emailed them on Wednesday at 10:01 and they replied same day at 16:59
Good luck mate.
Thanks Jambo,do you mean I should or shouldn't get COA because I have RC until July 2014? yes I'm anxious but do you remember my situation as I have applied for EEA4 based on 5 yrs relation(but married only for 3.5 years) so I was kind of hoping if there was a problem with that,,they would have just...

I was agreed with my solicitor to get all my posts.

Hi guys, it has been almost 5 weeks(by end of this week) when I applied for PR (HO received on 27/02/2012) and I haven't heard anything yet (no COA),,,,, should I write to HO( an email) or wait longer? it's killing waiting with no response from HO. Is anyone out there been waiting longer than 5 week...
Hi zubby007,
first of all, when did you apply for PR or RC(time line)?
Second what did you request of HO on your email( Passport or update on COA)?
What will HO despatch soon?(hopefully)
Hi nico2185,
You should first give us an explanation of your situation otherwise no one can help you, besides I don't think you need to pay all that,,,,,
People in this forum have enough knowledge to make you put your case forward yourself.
All the best mate.
Hi guys,,,have I got it right?!! you are saying that even without passport you can travel as long as you you hold RC or PR!!!
That is only a visa provided on A4 paper.
Hi anp,
If you are married from May 2007 and lived together in UK and your wife exercised her treaty right throughout 5 years(with evidence) then stop hesitating and just apply for it, you do qualify for PR, good luck
Bare in mind,,,,HO staffs not all the same with the knowledge
Reda, U did a good trick 1 month early and u received ur COA, I presume if they need any more evidence then they will ask u for it,,,if u just send them that would be an extra time to some1 review them,,, but that's just my opinion
Hi Reda, that is good news,,,so it took just over 4 weeks to get ur COA i hope it follows by PR,,,plz update us here.
Can i just ask if ur RC or RROR visa expired yet or still valid?
Hi joy2006,
I will say in advance,,,,congratulations the way u say it,,im sure it's PR(I hope),,,and u will enjoy ur holiday, im going on holiday on end of July so no rush yet,,
Make sure u wake up early
I'm not so sure but if u have been out of UK for six month or less(once in 5 yrs) or out of UK for business purposes u might be ok but still has to be during 5 yrs of residency(which u said 2008) so I guess it's not 5 yrs yet,,,,
I hope im wrong and u qualify but,,,,,thats my knowledge.
all the best.
