Hi Rax,

I think ukba deducted my visa fee as 'funds available' (i.e. actual balance-visa fee) is different from the actual balance.

Thanks

Thanks Usman.

I called my bank just 10 minutes before and asked about declined transactions if any. As others mentioned there is a delay in payment deduction.

Usman, can you also update here as soon as the fee deducted from your account.

As you have 4 dependants (I believe quicksam mentioned only for 3 dependants) it should be

Maintenance: £800 + £533 + £533 + £533 + £533 if you apply before 4th June

Fee: £1500 + £750 + £750 + £750+ £750 (Postal)

£1800 + £900 + £900 + £900+ £900 (PEO)

Hi raxs, They haven't deducted yet but I am calling the bank daily to check any transaction declined from bank's end.

I think I need to wait for one more week, till then I need to make a call and disturb the bank's customer service. No other choice...:)

Thanks again raxs. I am more concern about this because they have blocked my transaction while booking the flight tickets online couple of weeks back and then they have unblocked only after the security checks (they have asked more than 20 questions about me and my recent transactions). As I was awa...

Thanks for your positive responses. I think the payment process is automated and they can't do anything in advance. If it is blocked (it happens randomly) then they should be able to unblock the transaction if we call them and approve. In worst case, if the transaction blocked what would be UKBA rea...

Debit card payment for visa fee

Hi I have applied my extension with my dependants last week and I opted for debit card payment for visa fees. I spoke to bank customer service and mentioned that there will be a large deduction by this week or week after and asked them to not to declined it. But their response is bit shocking. They ...

Hi orbis2,

If you don't mine, can you tell me how many months old your child is? My child is 6 months old, how difficult it is to give the biometrics?

I just read your link, do we really need to pay for biometrics?

Thanks

4. Online Pay slips with employer stamp and sign

As my company doesn't have the stamp, they gave me the pay slips in the company headed letter.

I will be more comfortable if you guys confirm that I am fine with the documents mentioned above.

Thanks

Thanks for your response tahirnaveed.

I also managed to get my pay slips in company header letter. Do you think this (along with the bank statements) is sufficient to prove the 'Previous Earnings'?

Did you submit the letter from employer as well?

Thanks for all your response. Can I ask the employer to give company headed letter which would mention the claim period earnings (12 months) ? If they agreed to give, can I submit only the letter or (letter and online payslips with the employer sign)?

Hi, Just I came to know that the company stamp is not available, so my employer only can sign on my online payslips. Is that fine or company stamp is mandatory?

Preferred Special delivery envelope

Hi, I believe most of them preferred to send the Tier 1 (G) application form with the necessary documents by Special Delivery. In my case, all the documents (mine and dependents) would go about 1 KG, I think. I have seen few special delivery envelopes in Royalmail website, but can anyone suggest whi...

Can anyone response, is it fine to provide the bank statements from 24-Nov-2011 to 23-Feb-2012 for proving the maintenance if I submit the Tier1 extension application on 15th March?
