hey Sup. many thanks! actually yeah i omitted that point - my job was an exact match for one of the published SOC codes. the "issue" was only that i'm on a 40-hour per week contract, so was not 100% sure what to write in section 5 ( see here ) so yeah i'd say it was straightforward - e.g. ...

i did my WP ILR at Croydon PEO today. My payment didnt go through (of course) and the lady at the payments counter just made a call to my bank (natwest) - she said they do it all the time. this may differ at other PEOs..

@sup - you were right! they just werent interested in the work permit bit at all. i even had it written on my employer letter (maybe not such a good move but felt i needed to explain what visa i was on in my first year of employment with the company). @smam - i'm pretty sure it's gross - everything else on the form seems to be except for one question where it asks for net... (5.3) for the record i went to Croydon PEO today and was successful. the lady who was processing my application, i dont think she even looked at the SOC code stuff in Section...
