there is nothing specific in this regards. Yes there might be changes which may be introduced but no one knows exactly what changes. I have taken the LIUK test already even tough I will apply for ILR in March next year. So you can do the same for peace of mind.

To be honest you should be fine as you don't have more than 90 days absence. Try and see if any of the other vistas could be termed as official work trips?

i think you will be fine as you donot have any absence more than 90 days. 180 days is still breached but then you have reasons to exclude your business visits i.e., 44 days.

Well prepared application pack is recommended!

Hi Aif, As per your post, UKBA advised that taking a 6 months sabbatical is fine and would not impact your tier 1/HSMP visa. However, it is something that is a restriction when it comes to ILR. Case workers discretion can be used but you have to prove that those months you were employed and also pai...

Hi, You will have to prove the gap of 94 days was for compassionate reasons and something which couldn't be avoided because of your medical condition. Include letter from the Indian doctor and also try and get the letter from your GP in The UK whom you would have met after coming back for further ch...

Although it is not a very straight forward case but I can see the discretion being applied in your case. However, you will need strong evidence from the company to mention the nature of the work you do. Also, evidence that you have always been paid in the UK etc If you travelled on 11th and came bac...

Yes there are chances that UKBA might cancel the appointment at a short notice but the chances of that are very little compared to chances of people wanting their first appointment not getting one because of other booking more than One...

UKBA releases slots only 42 days in advance so if today 25th Oct was coming up tomorrow 26th Oct will show up. The key is to keep following the trend and you will get the appointment as soon as the slots are released.

You pay on the same day before the case worker makes a decision on the application (Solihull is an exception). You can pay using a creditor debit card.

There is no legal reason for releasing. But you are struggling to get an appointment and could be because people like you might have double booked. Hope now it makes sense to release the booking you do not need?
