Does anyone have anything to share regarding premium service appointments on the day of the probable ukba strike this week, do they get cancelled? or will they be fine? unable to contact UKBA by phone, no info online.

there is a lack of information as to who is exactly going on strike, and whether ukba premium service office will be open or not!!

I am applying for ILR on 27/07/2012. I have already obtained the employment letter from my current employer on 05/07/2012. Do you reckon it will be ok with the 05/07, or do i have to get a new one with a a date closer to 27th.

I am planning to bring my parents over to visit me in the UK between April and June, after they get a visitor's visa. I am due to apply for ILR in May.
Do you guys think it would affect my ILR application the fact that my parents will be here at the time.
