If she has done a third extension on FLR M, why hasn't she applied for ILR yet? When did you get ilr? Or did she only switch to FLR M spouse of settled person this year an...

Thank you contorted_svy

So no need to upload any documents eg. my divorce petition? Just a mention in cover letter will do?
Your divorce is irrelevant to a naturalisation application. Nothing needs to be mentioned or submitted about this.

Re: ILR skilled worker with family

1. It is form SET O for all of you.

2. Your son only qualifies for ILR when your spouse does. If you are not all applying together, he can only apply when your spouse does.

3. Yes, but you first in your own and then dependents.

Re: ILR - Is mix of settlement visa acceptable

No, you cannot combine dependent visa time and main visa holder time to make up 5 years for ILR.

You need 5 years as dependent OR 5 years as main skilled worker visa holder.

Re: Will time count for ILR

if she convinced her employer to sponsor her, will the previous tier 2 time count or not ? No, each time she changes from main visa holder to dependent or vice versa, her 5 year ilr clock resets. So if she changes back to skilled worker visa, the previous time on that visa doesn't count for 5 years...

Re: Will time count for ILR

The question now, when I apply in Jan 26 for the Ilr, What is my best option in this complicated circumstance? No, she does not qualify for ILR when you do. She needs 5 years on a dependent visa. She cannot combine her visas to make up 5 years for ILR. She can only do that for ILR based on 10 years...

Re: Does Tier 4 DES count towards 5 years lawful residence?

If you are married to a British citizen, it is an application based on 3 years residence and you do not need to wait 12 months on ilr.

I was merely indicating you don't qualify for citizenship yet.

Re: Does Tier 4 DES count towards 5 years lawful residence?

Read the first to words I typed again in my response.

Where do you conclude I said it does not count??

Citizenship is not an immigration application where certain visas are excluded from a qualifying period.

Re: Does Tier 4 DES count towards 5 years lawful residence?

It counts. Why would it not count? It is a visa.

And unless you are married to a British citizen, you don't qualify for citizenship yet.

Could you please clarify this further? My wife holds an Indian passport, so she cannot use it as proof of residence. BRP of the valid/most recent grant
SeT (O) is correct, no evidence of cohabitation asked for on the route
Cohabitation evidence for last 2 years is required, to prove subsisting relationship.

Not sure why you sent your passports to UKVI.

Did you apply online?

Where did you enroll your biometrics, at UKCVAS?

No original documents are sent to UKVI anymore.

Applications and rules differ depending on the visa a person holds. It is not a one size fits all.

You should only be following official websites, rules or guidance, not YouTube!!

Re: British Citizenship cancelled old expired password

My last question is: I obtained settled status on May 2019. 5 years of lawful residence has passed since then. I need to wait 1 more year because one requirement for British citizenship is 5 years of continuous residence and 12 months after obtained settled status. So total 5+1 years. Thank you all...
