You cannot object or go for admin review when the applicant made a mistake.

They will have to submit a new application.

There is NO requirement for a child to be present at the start of the qualifying period.

It is ONLY a requirement for adults!!

Re: Leave of absence

Thank you so much everyone who replied. We have applied using the standard application as the priority option wasn’t available last week. Just super priority. Is there any way we can pay the additional and get priority instead of waiting for 6 months? ILR on form SET(M) does not have the option for...

Re: Which ILR Application should i use?

If she is on a 5 year spouse settlement visa (ie FLR M) then it is form SET M for ilr.

Useful to state the exact visa she came to the uk on and has held for 5 years. Different "dependent" visa routes have different forms for ilr.

Re: Does student dependant period count towards ILR for Global Talent Visa

If you hold a gtv main visa, you cannot use time you spent on a dependent visa to make up 3 years for ilr. You were already advised of this!!

A combination of certain visas can only be used for ilr based on 10 years long residence.

What do you mean? Did you not pay when you submitted your application online? Usually when one applies online that is what happens, and once you pay you get the email. did you apply by post? If that is the case I don't know how it works to book biometrics. In any case you have 45 working days to at...

Re: Absence Days for Dependent Visa Holders

Yes, there is an absence limit. No more than 180 days absence in any rolling 12 month period. These changes came into effect in January 2018.

You cannot use Child Benefit, child tax credits or Housing Benefit to calculate the adequate maintenance requirement for a spouse visa. Not sure what the 'Standard Allowance' is. Only the benefits below are used and counted. https://assets.publishing.service.gov.uk/media/646e0272ab40bf000c19698c/App...

You were already advised in your other almost identical topic that it won't affect ilr.

You really are overthinking this new, not fully rolled out e-visa issue.

How the 19th October, 2024 was arrived at. For spouse visa applied from outside UK, the time counts from the date of first entry into UK by the holder. For FLRM eligibility, this will be 30months in UK from date of first entry minus 28days. Thank you so much! I'm so sorry if I wasn't clear! My wife...

Yes, English A 1 test from a UKVI approved test provider is mandatory.

Or if she has a foreign degree, she needs to have it assessed by ECCTIS.

Both options cost the same.

Re: Skilled Worker Applicaton - No more biometrics required ??

You need to keep checking for the option before paying. Members report checking around 12am/1am for the option, if available based on capacity.

Note if you have already submitted and paid, you can't change to priority service.

Re: ILR rejected

Did you apply using the wrong form, ie SET M?

What does the email from ukvi state exactly?

If you hold a Skilled Worker dependent visa, you must use form SET O to apply for ilr. Your spouse being British is irrelevant.
