Re: Switching from dependent to skilled worker Visa - not finding option to add dependents

Do you mean I have to start fresh application each time and use linking code which I got while filling up main applicant's application (assuming I'll get the option to link application with main applicant)? Yes. Main applicant already started application and reached to almost at the end but didn't ...

Dependents each complete their own separate forms.

It is not one form for all.

i have another query, as my partner is not going to have settled status by the time 2025 and would it impact registering the UK born child as british after my ILR?
No issue. A UK born child has an entitlement to register as British once EITHER parent gets ILR.

Re: Citizenship requirements

1. Fine yes provided you meet the requirements. 2. You can choose any council you wish. Don't assume you and your buddies will all get approval at the same time. It doesn't work like that most of the time, even for families who apply at the same time. 3. You only need the stamped pages of your passp...

It is asking the date you entered and not date of visa vignette!!

Ukvi know the rules and that your visa route qualifying period is from vignette date!

What visa category does she hold?

Has she held a spouse settlement visa under Appendix FM for 5 years? ie 2 x 2.5 year visas.

Or does she hold a Skilled Worker or tier 1 or gtv dependent visa for 5 years?

What is your immigration status and route?

Re: Naturalization process for ILR holder (via Tier 2 Dependent VISA)

Q1. For your wife, her B1 test. When did she get ILR?

Q2. It is your wife's travel and passport that is relevant. Not yours if you hold a British passport. Nothing extra is needed except her stamped passport pages.

Q3. You need marriage certificate.

Re: Spouse visa to ILR

Nothing has changed. For spouse visa holders the qualifying time starts from date of entry.

It is a completely different visa category that starts from initial visa issue date. You have misunderstood, it is different rules/requirments for different visas, it is not a one size fits all.

Re: continuous residence requirements

You won't be eligible for ilr. You cannot have more than 180 days absence in any rolling 12 month period regardless of reason for absence. Also, if you are working in India, then you don't need a Skilled Worker visa. Continuous residence is UK Residence only. It has nothing to do with working abroad.
