November 2011 to ILR being granted in January 2012 is not really a substantial delay I my opinion. If your ILR was granted and is dated as 26th January 2012, you can apply for naturalisation exactly 12 months after this on 26 January 2013, there is no option of applying 'within 28 days' for naturali...

Yes, she can apply independently if she meets the relevant residence and absence requirements. The only benefit of a joint application would be a slightly reduced fee but for naturalisation there is no main and dependent category, each person has to complete their own AN form and meet the requiremen...

Maybe best would be to phone UKBA on Thursday and ask them if you can apply for PBS dependent with a FLR(M) appointment. I am not sure if you can or not unless a guru can answer that question for you.

You are welcome and I am a lady not a sir lol

I am not sure if you can use the same appointment, best would be to phone the UKBA or try and get another appointment nearer to the visa expiry or do a postal application to extend.

Child benefit will have no effect on your future BC application. But please remember that YOU must apply because you have ILR and it must be paid to you. Your wife must not apply because she is not entitled to benefits. Child benefit is paid directly into your bank account and you can choose to have...

If the baby is born in the UK, once you have got your ILR, you can apply to register baby as british, you won't have to apply ILR for the baby. If baby is born in India, baby will need Tier 1 dependent visa and can apply for ILR at the same time as you. Child benefits is a payment which is currently...

You cannot claim any benefits until you have successfully applied for ILR. Once you have ILR, the likelihood is that you might only be able to claim child benefit. On a salary of £60k, there is nothing else you will qualify for once you get ILR. Your employer might have a child care voucher scheme, ...
