Hi, The test is not the same for everyone, questions are different per person in the test room and are generated by the computer. I found when I did my test that the questions I got were identical to the official Home Office book from TSO, which I read once and then did loads of practice questions i...

Hi, Any documents you have in either your name or your wife's name can be used as long as they go to the same address and span the FULL two years. It doesn't have to be in joint names but ideally you want at least 1 or 2 in joint names. The caseworker asked me specifically for something in joint nam...

Hi, From what I understand, when it says main applicant it means the person who has the appointment and if you have made an appointment for 1 person and bring a dependant to the appointment who is included in your application for ILR, it is not acceptable as you would have had to make an appointment...

Hi,
Congrats on passing your test.
Not sure you will get an appointment before 6th April at Croydon, thinks its a bit late as its only two weeks away and appointments get booked weeks in advance.
You might want to try one of the other PEO's
Wish you luck though.
Thanks

Forgot to say that if I HAVE to make all these copies (+/- 2.5 reems of paper), my biggest problem will be getting the heavy paperwork to the PEO by myself as my husband works night shift in Croydon and is meeting me there.

Thanks

Thanks, I will post how it went.

The number I called is : 0870 606 7766 and I got through each time within about 2 minutes. Can't remember what option I chose, but went for general immigration enquiry.

Your biometrics will be taken during the process on the day of your appointment, you don't need a separate appointment and only need Set(m) completed. Complete all relevant sections on the form that are applicable to you. You need to say on the form where it asks when and where you had your biometri...

If i was you, i would find out if i can switch to the spousal visa in country, which is what i did. then after 24 months on spousal, apply for ILR which you will be on for 12 months before applying for BC. Takes 2 years off your waiting time at least.

Can you not switch to spousal visa?? if you can, this will be issued for 27 months, but you can apply for ILR after 24 months and then you will need to do 12 months on ILR before applying for BC.
