Can we apply for ILR after 5 years? It's just that my present job does not match the salary threshold. If I do get a new employer with better salary package, how soon can I apply?

I will be applying for ILR in May but find the salary threshold confusing.

I am currently paid above the yearly rate. Is that rate correspond to 37.5 hour week? Or it can be any hour, as in my case 45 hours a week?
