@proul79

In some ways we can say that.. The letter stated that I have been working for the employer since XX to YY and they still require me to hold the position.
I think the caseworker may ask for P60's if he/she is picky or if they cannot verify the employer. Hope it helps.

Thanks. The caseworker has actually spotted the absences letter in my docs which I laid out on the desk just to make things easier for myself. I was out of the UK for 95 days. Most of my absences are annual leaves and here's the template The UK Border Agency PO Box 496 Durham DH99 1WQ 14th Dec 2012 ...

Thanks sushdmehta, selpouv78 Does "deception" here mean non-disclosure of PhD (WP holders can pursue studies, bursary comes from research grants not public funds) or something else? Please clarify. My employer never paid me below what was stated on work permit and is interested in quoting ...

ILR - (WP + PhD) query

Hi I am applying for ILR next month with WP + 5 year qualification. A year ago, on mutual agreement between me and my employer, I have started a part time PhD funded by a research project in a university. As the bursary pays for the fees (shamefully charged as overseas student!) and leaves the remai...

Mistyped name in LIUK Notification letter

Hi, While registering my details in LIUK test I mistyped my surname (a letter missing). Unfortunately, I only managed to notice it while taking the test and I notified about it to the test supervisor. ILR 28 days confusion - please help

Hi I may have miscalculated the time I would be able to apply for ILR. I would be grateful to anyone who can clarify this. My VISA is valid until 3/01/2013 but I entered the UK on 14/1/2008 which is 11 days after my VISA validity started. According to my calculation, 17th December is when I can appl...

Hi All I am on a work permit visa from Jan 2008 and will be eligible for ILR in December this year. By the time I make the application, my wife would have lived with me for about 6 months . I understood from the rules that she is eligible for ILR along with me (as I did not switch to PBS) and I can ...
