Re: regarding ILR need your help amber

Hi Amber,‎ I asked everybody about my case, they just told me ask AMBER. She knows everything about your ‎case. ‎ So I am here with a bunch of questions. It’s about ILR.‎ We are a family of 3, me, my wife and my son (8 year old).‎ Our first visa (Tier1 General) was issued on 22/06/2010. It was valid...

Your post is not entirely clear. As I understand it: Yourself You had a Tier 1 visa issued about 2 years ago, then you left the UK and applied from abroad for a Dependant visa with your wife being the principal migrant. She has been granted a Tier 2 General visa after 6 April 2012 valid for 3 years...

1 Your time in Tier 1 will not count towards ILR because continuity of residency has been broken. 2 If your wife has now obtained a Tier 2 General visa for the first time she will be able to extend it for a further 2 or 3 years depending on whether she got it before or after 6 April 2012.. Thank yo...

ILR: Tier 2 (Migrant) + Tier 1 (Dependant)

Dear Forum, Moderators, Thanks for previous comments for my case. We just renew our visa. We came to UK with Tier 1 Visa roughly 2 years ago. I was the main applicant (Migrant) in Tier 1 as it was for 2 years. Recently, we got the new visa as Tier 2 for 3 years. This time my wife is the Main Applica...

Our case is the one you mentioned. In our case and according to current regulations, can we extend out Tier 2 Visa (Leave to Remain) again after 3 years? Can we hopeful for ILR after 5 years of having Tier2 ? Thanks for reply Manci. When your wife obtains her Tier 2 General visa it will be for 3 ye...

Hi Eshaghbina, You have not put your question very clearly. I assume that you are at present in the UK as a PBS Dependant. You will leave the UK and will apply for Tier 2 (General) from your home country. All being well you will be granted a Tier 2 (General) visa for a certain length of time and wi...

Hi Manci, I am at the same situation, but I am doubtful about this phrase: According to pages 16 and 17 of the link (http://www.ukba.homeoffice.gov.uk/sitecontent/applicationforms/pbs/tier2-guidance2.pdf) about the Leave to Remain, I hope that we are not involved in the sentence (you have not since ...

You are right. Thanks for the helps. How about the the ILR? Do you reckon our nearly 2 years of stay in UK with Tier 1 will be counted for the ILR in spite of switching from Tier 1 Dependant to Tier 2 Migrant? Thanks for the reply. it will not count towards the 5 year's residence for ILR as a PBS m...

Re: Tier1(General)Dependant switching to Tier2(General)Migra

Hi guys, We (all family) came to UK on Aug 2010 with Tier 1 (General) Visa. I'm the main applicant. My wife is dependant. The visa is valid for 2 years. I can not extend the Tier 1 (General) visa unfortunately. My wife found a job and now she can apply for Tier 2 (General) Visa. At the moment I am ...

No. No self employment on Tier 2 Work is allowed only for your sponsor and some supplementary work, rules of which are pretty tight. @ Sheffield_Marketeer: what you said is not for the main applicant? the dependant can have a full time/parttime job by her/his choice, regardless of the CoS of the ma...
