According to the refusal for galathea, it looks like they may take any 12 consecutive months(backward from application date) to calculate absences. If application date is 11 November 2012 then consecutive 12-months can be: Year 1 11 November 2012 to 10 November 2011 Year 2 11 November 2011 to 10 Nov...

Thanks for your replies. If I divide the 5 years in 12 month window periods 28 Jan to 28 Jan. My absences are less than 180 in any 12 month window. Based on this, am I eligible to apply for ILR? Coming to the proof for absences, only my first absence of 8 days paid leave was when I held Work Permit ...

Sorry to hear that, hope you will get the Visa approval very soon.

Why do they want to verify the bank statements.

Have you submitted original bank statements?

Did you mention your earnings period end date as 31-mar-2012(was that fine?)

Hi Sali, Since 27th mar 2012 is your appointment, it will be impossible to get bank statements till 31st mar 2012 as you don't know what transactions will take place after 27th mar. I think as long as you get bank statements till 23rd showing your salary that should be fine. (you can get upto 26th o...

Thanks for advice. Yes in my case, money will be in account on the day I get payslip and I am claiming less than 12 months earnings(10 months).

So will mention earnings end date as 28-mar-2012 in application and will mention it as march salary in covering letter. Hopefully that will be fine.
