I'm sorry - I should have been clearer
The courier service are very prompt - as in they reply almost asap

Its the home office who have taken their own sweet time in delivering the permit... (i.e. one month after I applied using the premium service)

BRP card received by courier very late

Imran - no surprises, the courier office gave me a positive reply only today (ONE MONTH AFTER APPLICATION)

On the one hand I am relieved that it has come but on the other, this is not what I paid for the premium service....

I am also on the 8th working day and no brp card yet.
I would suggest calling 0844 371 0000 and giving them your address postcode . This is the number of the courier company who deliver your brp cards. You can check with them if they have received any thing meant for your address

I never left the UK when being granted the HSMP.....I received my HSMP while I was resident in the UK.
