I know, and agree, we should all practice patience in life but there are times in life when it's mightily difficult to do ... this ILR process being one of them!!! Speaking for myself only now, I found myself being FORCED to do a postal application after having turned up at the PEO for my appointme...

Checked with SET(O)ILR_JR about their status by private messsage (as they're at the top of the SET(O)JR waiting list), and they haven't received their passport(s) yet. Pretty depressing news as it looks like we're going past the 27 week mark now for this category.

[quote="Susan1228 Well said! Oct2011, That's just what I need to say. At the moment, we have to wait. I intend to have a holiday during 15/03 to 15/04 (never expect to wait so long), unfortunately, I have not received my visa yet. A new project will start tomorrow, and 2 more projects start at ...

Well said antgod. You've expressed my thought exactly. I believe we've paid our dues having lived here for 5 years as Tier 1 immigrants and paying a high rate of tax with "no recourse to benefits". We've earned the right to the ILR and the least they could do is provide an efficient servic...

I am still waiting, Applied on 26/11/2011 payment taken on 28/11/2011 ack received on 30/11/2011 still waiting. I have enclosed next day prepaid delivery envelop as well. do they use that? Yes they do use the prepaid envelopes, but if you look at the successful list there seems to be quite a gap be...

Re: request to expedite

This forum has been helpful, if not somewhat depressing, to judge the waiting times for ILR SET (O) JR applications. It has now been 17 weeks since the receipt of my application and I have sent in two requests to expedite my application - one through the post and the other to settlementopspolicy@ho...

Hi, Oct2011,

I am so sorry to hear your story, if the same case worker considers our cases, I am sure you can get your ilr before 31st Mar. He seems to be very nice. Let's think it very positive.
Thanks Susan1228. Let's hope for the best..nothing more we can do. :)

Re: set o JR

Hi, Oct 2011, You are right, this should be a good week for people in Set (O) JR group, I sent an email to ukba in 12:40 today and received reply from the case worker within 30 mins, he said "Further to your below request, I have looked into your application and you should receive the decision...

Re: set o JR

we seem to be bearing the brunt for having the court smacking the HO! Eternal wait,..when would my six months be up?applied oct 14..apri 14th is it? I agree that it feels like we're being punished. We don't have to fill half as many pages of the application as a regular Set[O] applicant, and don't ...

Re: congrats and a gentle reminder

sorry to hear that your efforts to speed up the case haven't brought any results yet. I feel really angry that it takes them so long to decide and that they don't provide any info about the progress whatsoever. It also looks like the set (O) JR is the least favourable group, as the average wait is ...
