Re: ILR application waiting time - 5 years route

I can't believe what you're saying really and I usually ignore childish comments but I am kind of fed up. I have not criticized anyone and I have not told anyone what to do. But you have obviously chosen to take offense at what I said. I said I thought it was pointless, that it just delayed their w...

Re: ILR application waiting time - 5 years route

I once almost got crucified here on this thread when I said that we simply have to accept the waiting game and keep our cool. Thank you for saying the things as they are. And I really hope you'll get it in next few days. You and all others in the 6 (+) club Marie, great news! First stage done, now ...

Re: WatchDog

Perhaps our local MPs should be consulted as to what they think is the best way forward to get the UKBA's attention. They will be best to know how the system works. If we want the right people to listen to the concerns we have, we first need to summarise a list of legitimate arguements for our case...

There is no fix rules in timelines, some even get earlier than others, some even who applied in december got results already,so its either luck or depending on case worker or on the case itself,I think most who get have very straight forward cases. The only way i can see to speedup this process is MP...

a small correction. Checked with my husband and apparently the visa was stamped on 12/03 rather than 19/03, as I thought. The pre-paid special delivery enveloped I enclosed with my application was used. Even so, the postage took one month and one day! Brrrrilliant service! Thanks for this piece of ...

Re: SET M

There seems to be a discrepancy between the dates on the visas and the return of passports. It appears to be around two weeks. I have to say I suspect fiddling of the figures to make the processing times appear shorter. I suspect the UKBA is in such a state of near collapse that they are playing wi...
