who will assess ICT Insufficient qualification?

Hello, I live in the UK and applying for Australian Visa 189 for Systems Analyst skills (261112). My degree is Bachelor of Engineering in Polymer from University of Pune which is obviously ICT Insufficient. ACS has asked me to submit RPL which I will do. However ACS have told me that they will NOT m...

Re: ILR refusal due to absence more than 180 Days

Can he shift to Tier 2 General now while in the UK?

I gather that 'qualifying period' is when one had valid leave to remain and not when one is legally in the UK e.g. delay due to postal applications.

Do you know if someone is successful with absence of more than 180 days I have heard about some cases who were granted ILR on discretion as their absences were considered as compelling and on compassionate grounds. Re: ILR (10 years) 12 months gap

Hi Guys, I am just wondering if any of you has been successful for ILR 10 years route with 12 month continuous gap, I know that any absent more than 6 months means the chain is broken. But I have compelling or compassionate circumstances that prevented me from coming back to the UK. And my overall ...

As I know, there is no time limit to make the decision. However looking at your case it should not take long.

As I heard it does not expire. I will try to confirm. NARIC does not give any qualification but it only does recognition and comparison so it should not expire. As long as the underlying qualification is valid, Naric comparison should be fine.

Re: Deduction from the annual salary

A follow up question or more of a confirmation - Employer's contribution to pension is not considered because it does not show up in the salary slip. Is this right?
Technically speaking employer's pension contribution is also earning and ideally should be considered.

Re: Earnings of last 15 months

Hi Experts, I came to UK on 25/12/2011 on Tier 1(General) visa, so i think i am eligible for ILR by end of this year(25/12/2016). I read that I can apply 28 days before, so planning to apply on 29/11/2016 My questions is- To get the points for my earnings, I want to show earnings of last 15 months ...

Re: Tier 2 General Granted for less than 5 Years (ILR)

your questions are based on the assumption that there will be ILR in 2021. Sorry to break this to you, but there is no one in home office who has answer to this. I agree but Home Office is usually fair and applies new rules only to new people e.g. number of points required to extend Tier 1 General ...

Re: Tier 2 G - ILR - Absenses

As per the home office guidance, absences related to pregnancy fall within 180 days limit. Clearly in your case, this would not meet the condition of continuous stay. however if there were any compelling and compassionate grounds then you may want to consider it but it would entirely up to the case ...

Re: ILR 10 Years Long Residence after Brexit?

As far as I know there have not been any changes since the brexit result. I believe home must be checking tax payments for all applicants particularly ones who run businesses. Having said this, I am not sure if Home Office has become bit more stringent or more accommodative since the Brexit vote. I ...

I also do not know if one is allowed to share solicitor names. But does not make any difference as I do not know anyone who was ex-case worker or expert in representing such cases.
But please the forum in loop.

When are you planning to apply?

Re: Extended Absences - Discretion Required - any known case

How have your absences in the other years been? When does your T1G visa expire? My other absences are less than 180 days. Actually I was fully paid in the UK apart from these 19 months. I used work from India when making trip for the treatment. If I apply in July - my total absences will be 708 day...

Re: Extended Absences - Discretion Required - any known case

My Tier 1 is until Feb-2018. I was here Aug-2010 to Apr-2012 and then from Nov-13 onwards. 19 months gap between Apr-12 to Nov-13. To be honest the only reason I went because of my wife's treatment. Otherwise I had absolutely no reason to leave UK. I am thinking of taking a chance in July or Aug in ...
