Thank you for your reply Lucapooka... I showed funds from my bank account in India (Fixed Deposit, which is more than 90 days on the application date), but for some reason they refused to take that as maintenance of funds. Now I decided to take one more payslip and bank statement this month and go w...

Tier 2 visa refusal Dependent Visa

I've done a mistake of not supplying the 90 days bank statement (supplied for 70 days).
Got refused and they have supplied the appeal form.
Is there any chance of winning the appeal if I can go for an appeal with my recent additional bank statement to cover up 90 days?

I guess, you can withdraw the application and make them return the passport by next working day

@greenie, thank u for the reply
On what basis would your wife be applying for ilr?
you mean to say, there is no option to apply later on as they do in out-country settlement visa (which they apply after the main applicant's ILR is issued)?

Can I apply ILR just for myself and for the dependent later?

I'm eligible to apply for 10 yrs ILR. I'm in Tier 2 Visa now. Can I apply for myself ILR now and leave my wife's dependent visa as it is. Once I received my ILR, can she apply ILR on a same day service for her? The reason I'm asking this is, at least she can have her passport to travel as the 10 yea...

Customers are advised to ensure that this service will be acceptable to the intended recipient
DVLA, will they accept it?
Also, I guess this document checking is only for the British Citizens and not for the foreign passport holders.

since the dates are correct and only the years differ, (2013 & 2015) might be a mistake, just try to contact them and get that sorted.

Call from embassy to the employer

I've applied for Tier2 dependent visa to my wife and kids and the embassy(India) called and asked the employer(UK) to authenticate the employment letter. They have called as well as emailed my employer. Is this a normal procedure they do?

DVLA Provisional licence

I'm in Tier 2 Work Permit. If I need to apply provisional licence, do I need to send my (Indian)passport and biometric card as well by post to DVLA?

Alternatively, is there a way to apply at a local DVLA office, without sending the passport?

If you have been in the UK for 12 months your need 533 x 4 = 2132
The minimum needs to be like this
800(for the main applicant, though he is not applying now) + (533 x 4) = 2932

Kindly clarify me...[/quote]

Tier 2 Maintenance of funds documents for Dependents

Dependent visa is for my wife and 2 kids, India. I'm in UK. The payslips and bank statements given for 2 months and few days (less than 90 days) and minimum fund need to be maintained is short of 200 pounds at one point of time for few days. I'm bit worried, I should have avoided and applied later. ...
