Unfortunately, I think there is no maximum time. Someone correct me if I'm wrong. But at this stage UK is only concerned in its own security, etc. so they don't want to limit themselves. hi i have applied this visa on 02/11/2011, biometric done on 15/11/2011, ukba asked more documents on 12/12/2012, visa was refused on 27/01/2012. then i applied again with new application on 23/02/2012, biometric done on 12/03/2012 , got visa approved on 28/03/2012, BRP card received on 30/03/2012....

The have different department, how did Ukba now that you did any offence, this type of a incident even didn't effect your CRB,

You don't need to worry about, sometime it's take long time,
