Re: General Discussion During Naturalisation Application Pro
There are too many things involved, your post might have been delayed. Council may only have one slot in their next ceremony. You letter might have lost in post. Don't just assume your application might be refused. Why don't you call HO and check with them?
Thanks for your, as ever,...

Re: General Discussion During Naturalisation Application Pro

Thanks akhurshid. I never knew they were processed separately. That is strange. Main applicant might even be refused but dependant will still be successful? I can't see the logic in them being processed separately..

Re: General Discussion During Naturalisation Application Pro

Hi All I'll make it short and hope someone will shed some light on the case. I applied in Dec with under 18 child. The child's invitation for the ceremony arrived today (dated 12 Jan) but my one (main applicant) has not come yet. Should I be worried? I have seen quite similar post somewhere here som...

Re: Advice on filling form AN for naturalisation

Check the last two pages of the form. Supporting documents. Section 2. I downloaded it just now to have a look. It is very clear there.
Honestly, I don't understand what the problem is. You already supplied LIUK and IELTs once when applied for ILR. Just submit the same ones now.
Best of luck.

Re: Advice on filling form AN for naturalisation

Sean J you MUST submit both LIUK and language requirements confirmations. I applied via NCS on 2nd Dec and and those were the only documents required along with the passports, BRP cards and photos. If your language test is expired but had used it before while applying for settlement it is still acce...

Re: General Discussion During Naturalisation Application Pro

Thanks again akhurshid. It is just that no UKBA application has ever gone smoothly for me and I always provided so many docs. So this time it is just a thin folder with few pieces of paper make me feel a bit insecure and rather nervous. ☺

Re: General Discussion During Naturalisation Application Pro

Thanks for your reply akhurshid.

There is a list of docs on the adult's last page of application. The child's one ends with the declaration, no supported documents mentioned. So, am a bit confused. Would appreciate any clarity. Thanks.

Re: General Discussion During Naturalisation Application Pro

Hi, you all nice people My time to apply for citizenship has come. I've filled in the forms, booked NCS appointment but fail to find a list of supporting documents for the child under 18 but over 13. Could you be kind enough to share the list with me (if you've applied yourself) and/or just point me...

Hi All It's been some time since I've been here but now that ILR application time is approaching I decided to get here for your help, you all lovely people ☺ I am just wondering if any of you have some recent experience in passing LITUK test. How did you find it (hard/ easy)? How did you study? What...

Hi all I have eventually received my documents and am currently waiting for my BRP to arrive. To remind you all, I applied on the 14th of February, had my biometrics taken in mid March and had the package attempted delivery on Thursday 27 September. I missed the postman and collected the package the...

Their woolly wording really is starting to bug me. Why do they say things like "still under consideration" when what they actually mean is "still not assigned to a caseworker" or "still not in front of a caseworker's face"? And after as many months as you've been waiti...

I just phoned the UKBA and they said they've posted something to me by Royal Mail Recorded Delivery. The advisor said it was probably the return of documents but she can't tell on her screen apparently. In disbelief at the moment as we applied back on 16th February. I'll update when I know more..fi...

Re: Ahh

I applied in the second week of Feb as well, biometrics- mid March and still waiting. The phone calls to UKBA didn't get me anywhere. All I found out was my "application has not been completed yet". I'd already known it anyway. Why not to sack the call centre people (as they are of no help...

Re: Had a call from embassy to bring my passport

Well, when I had a similar phone call (after my refusal had been overturned) the girl from the Embassy called me to ask to bring my passport in. I had then asked her whether I'd be able to get in as it was less hassle to enter Kremlin than the Embassy. She said I should be ok as she would leave my d...

Re: Haleluiah!

Congratulations tcbrasil ! At least we know it'd started moving! Your news does cheer all of us waiting. However nobody knows how the UKBA operates. I know two people who submitted their docs mid March (after I did) and have already received their approvals last week but I am still waiting here with...
