Hi Clementine,

Re: First time Tier 2 General visa fee

Thanks for your advice!

Another question, does anyone know if I would have to submit my degree certificate/Certificate of award for the Tier 2 General application? I am currently on a PSW so I do not need to submit right?

Hi,

Why do you need to show £2700? Do you not need to show £1800 only? I thought if the main applicant has been in the UK for more than 12 months then the dependent needs to show £600 and less than 12 months it is £1800. What is the £2700 for then? Am I missing something?

no that is wrong. I had paid my visa fees with those 800 pounds and now I have got my visa. Unless you want to make a fresh application which you can't do right now anyway there is no use to keep those 800 pounds in the account.

Hi, No I did not contact any MP but I had complained about the UKBA's service and sent them reminders about my complaint every two days. I did not get any response from them so I am not sure how effective it was. I already had a BRP card from a previous application that I had made in January at a PE...

You seem to have misunderstood my question. Ofcourse I know that it will take me ages to get my visa, maybe even September or October. I had just asked which applications the UKBA are processing now so that I can get an idea of when I can get mine. Thanks for your replies though.

Hi, First of all I am a 'he' not a 'she'. I had applied on 31st March, UKBA received it on 2nd April. The biometric letter is dated 22nd June, I had lodged a complaint with the UKBA 2 weeks ago, I don't know if that made a difference. But I'm sure you should get yours soon as well. The UKBA has chan...
