What if the UK national earns below the treshold, say £20k, and the partner who is non UK national earns a lot more than him/her, say £30k? This needs to be taken into account as well, in my opinion.

Sent on the 3rd, assumed arrived on the 4th, opened on the 5th and put in the 'in' pile. There's then 3 working days between then and now. and did not realised that they now have a new form from 1st April 2012 onwards! The new form is valid from 6 April onwards. If you sent you application on Wednesday you will be fine. Oh Lucapooka thank you so much! One last question though. I sent the parcel on 3rd April 2012 for next day delivery....
