It will normally take 2-3 weeks, perhaps even sooner but some cases it takes as long as 2-3 months.. So please be advised that you apply ASAP to avoid last minute chaos. Why does it take 2-3 months? There is no problem with the work start date of 10 Dec in the CoS and your visa appointment on 19 Dec. In any case, you cannot change the CoS once it has been assigned.
