Re: Biometrics letter - how long must I wait?

Hi mark_b, I would say try calling UKBA (0870 606 7766) sometime next week, as you should give atleast 6-7 weeks for this letter to arrive. If I remember correctly you should be selecting option 4 and then option 1. You can ask them to send a request for a biometrics invitation to be issued. Hope t...

Biometrics letter - how long must I wait?

I submitted my app and my dependant's on the 1st June and got an acknowledgement letter dated the 6th June. 5 weeks later and no sign of the biometrics letter yet. Looking at the visa timelines it seems to be an average 3-4 weeks. I am starting to get worried - should I call them or email them to tr...

Online bank statements

Hi, Can anyone advise if I print off Internet bank statements for the 90 day maintenance requirement of £800 and get it stamped by the bank if that is accepted or does it need to be signed by them too? I tried getting a letter from 2 different branches but they don't want to do this and they proceed...

To my understanding C3 would be NO in your case. I think it only applies to people whose current Visa is in a previous passport. Its quite un-relevant question since they ask all current and previous passport's details in C1. But as I said, just say NO in C3. Thank you! That was my initial thought ...

Tier 1 Dependant C3 question

Hi, I have a query regarding my dependant's application: C3: Do you have any passport or travel document which contains a previous grant of leave or which you used when you last travelled to the UK? This seems unclear to me as to what they mean. My partner entered with me in July 2009 as my dependan...

Re: Tier 1 (General) Extension for Dependants

I am currently on a 3 year Tier 1 visa which expires in June. My partner is on a Tier 1 dependant visa too and when looking at the dependant forms for an extension I can't see anything about proving that our relationship is still subsisting. For our initial application we had to supply loads of doc...
