Strictly my personal view - I would take my chances and not inform HO particular if it is likely i get the naturalisation feedback within 6-8 weeks.
If you are lucky, you would get your reponse within the next 3-5 weeks.

I did not get any information with regards to why it went through the further enquiries process, it was just the normal approval notification letter, BRP, passports and supporting documents....

It was by post, got the biometric cards yesterday evenning (delivered by DX courier) while the passports/documents came in today by royal mail.

The Ryan, the funny thing is that my application was straight forward in contrary to the letter or UKBA belief. HSMP to TIER 1, still in the same job and claiming almost the same points as the last renewal. I am not sure how the so called 'not straight forward' came to be.
