Re: Tier 2 - Changing Jobs Issue

Mention on your CV that you are on a Tier2 visa, and before you go for an interview, tell the company upfront that you will need sponsorship. Your new employer must be a Tier 2 sponsor. Here is a list of Tier2 sponsors https://www.gov.uk/government/uploads/system/uploads/attachment_data/file/533968/...

Re: Late Tier2 Biometric Card

Thank you for your reply. Sorry, I got a bit confused. Do you advise I should wait for my visa before dropping my resignation, or it is better to drop it now (since I have a letter from HO saying my application has been approved). Please can you clarify. Thanks. I don't know anyone who faced this de...

Re: New Tier2 Application with wrong email address

In this link https://www.gov.uk/change-circumstances-visa-brp , it doesn't say that I must report an email address change. Please let me know what do you think, I am not an expert, and I don't want to appear as if I am deceiving the home office or something. Am I supposed to proceed with my Tier2 Pr...

Re: New Tier2 Sponsor (Employer)

Yes, thank you. So other than the money, there is no other problem. So switching between 2-3 employers will not upset the home office when I apply for my ILR within a couple of years. Between, while cross checking my Tier2 application for my premium service appointment within a couple of days, I fou...

Re: New Tier2 Sponsor (Employer)

Hi, Thank you. Yes they are genuine and they have completed this process. I was just asking to try to make sure, that even if there is a typo in the Cos and my new visa was not approved for some reason, I will not have to deport the country, because my current visa will not be cancelled. I will be g...

New Tier2 application fees

Hello, I am going to apply for a new Tier2 application (via premium service) to move to another company. I have the following questions: -At what point do I pay the visa application fees online? Is it after or before I book the appointment? -Is there any way to cancel the appointment later on, and g...

Re: Switching Tier2 Sponsors

Thank you. My current Tier2 visa and employment will not get impacted at all if the new Tier2 application wasn't successful, right? I will only have to cancel my current Tier2 biometric card, when I get the new biometric card.

Re: Switching Tier2 Sponsors

Hello, The new employer didn't tell me anything about the RLMT. I think the job ad has been there for a while now. They have recently applied for the CoS, and they got it. They have sent me the CoS number via email. Do I still need to ask them about RLMT? Or shall I proceed and start a new Tier2 app...

Switching Tier2 Sponsors

Dear all,

I am currently on a Tier2 visa, and I received a new offer along with a CoS from a new employer (sponsor). Now what should be the next step for me to switch employers? Should I apply for a new Tier2 application?

Thank you in advance and your help and guidance is appreciated.

Best regards,

Re: Got a new fixed term contract

4) I have read in this link http://goo.gl/jM1ZnC that a permanent position is better than a fixed term contract for the ILR application. Is this still correct? Thank you.
