Police registration after BRP receipt?

On the back of the BRP it says you have to register/report to the police. Does anyone know how quickly you have to do it?

had the same issue. got the documents on 17.4 and just received the BRP today (3.5). BRP is dated 1.5 and valid thru 17.4.2014.
