Re: UK Visitor visa rejected - Advise please

Hi all, Knowing that the visitor visa might/would be rejected, I had to re-apply visitor visa for my MiL on insistence of my wife and other family members and it was rejected the second time for the same reason. The second application was rejected on the 7-Nov 2016. Based on experience, can someone...

UK Visitor visa rejected - Advise please

Hello everyone, My wife is pregnant and due to some medical reasons,I applied for visitor visa for my mother-in-law in 21/04/16 to provide some support for my wife in the initial months of her pregnancy. My mother-in-law travelled to the UK on the 25/04/16 (this was her first visit to the UK) and re...

All, I have written a letter to my CW last friday and am yet to hear from her regarding the expiry date. http://www.immigrationboards.com/viewtopic.php?t=124893&postdays=0&postorder=asc&start=0 Is this happening to people who have applied through Sheffield PEO or is there anyone else fac...

It was a separate piece of paper to the approval letters. My partner and I both got one to sign. It had my name, place of birth, date of birth, decision date, expiry date and conditions on (no recourse to public funds, not allowed to work as dentist in training or whatever). Had to check the detail...

Another thing is that I was made to sign a letter at the PEO confirming my details are correct - the letter was what was being sent to the company who produces the BRP cards. This contained the EXACT details (including expiry dates) of what will be printed on the cards. Caseworker confirmed that ev...

Re: BRP received - new expiry date is from the date of the a

It seems deciding the expiry date process is not consistent!! My currently Tier1 expires on 2th Feb'13. I went to PEO same day service on 22nd Jan'13. Received BRP card in a week's time, the expiry date on it says 25th Feb'2016. This means expiry date decision is purely on what case worker decides!...

There is a separate help text leaflet available with this form. Where a question in this form has information available in the help text leaflet it will be marked with “(ht)”. ht - Help Text. Wherever you find this you will have some explanation about the section in 'Tier 1 (General) policy guidanc...

Only that you explain that you applied within the last 28 days of your previous LTR expiry date and also highlight the effect this issue will have in you meeting the 5 year residence requirement for settlement when you write to the caseworker. Thanks cs95tdg. I will write to my caseworker explainin...

RScorpio - I went to Sheffield PEO Following is the response that I got today from UKBA: Thank you for your enquiry regarding the expiry date of your Biometric Residence Permit (BRP). We have looked into this matter, and the expiry date showing on your BRP is correct according to our records. If yo...

Re: BRP received - new expiry date is from the date of the a

In your case, date of issue should be 28-01-13 and expiry date 21-02-15. Are you saying your expiry date on the BRP is 28-01-15? If yes, this is a mistake and you should contact the HO.[/quote] Jambo - That's right. My expiry date is until 28-01-2015 and not until 21-02-2015. I'm trying to find som...

Re: BRP received - new expiry date is from the date of the a

This is interesting. I've known in the past that the UKBA granted T1G extensions from the date of current LTR expiry, so long as the application to extend was not submitted more than 28 days before the LTR expiry date. It may be now they have a different stance. Given what has happened, can you con...

BRP received - new expiry date is from the date of the appt

Hello all, I went for PEO on the 28th of Jan for my Tier 1 extension. My initial visa was due to expire on the 21st of Feb 2013. So I went within the 28 days. Mine is 3+2 visa. I received my BRP today. My extension has been granted from the date of the appointment(28th Jan) which expires on the 28 J...

Thanks for the reply. But are you sure about this. The reason being that one of my friend applied through PEO, got the approval letter and had to wait until the BRP to know the new expiry date.

In order to know the new expiry date, will this be mentioned in the approval letter or do we have to wait until the BRP arrives. If you mean, the expiry date on your BRP. This will be 10 years from the date of ILR approval. It's the expiry date of the BRP card, and not your ILR status. Sorry, I sho...

Hi All,

In order to know the new expiry date, will this be mentioned in the approval letter or do we have to wait until the BRP arrives.

In the PEO experience thread, I've seen many people mentioning the new expiry date and still waiting for their BRP.

Thanks

1. First step would be to check your qualification on the points calculator and see how many points you are awarded. 2. Generally this shouldn't be a problem as you have arrangements with HMRC. Thanks mulderpf for the response. In the points calculator, 35 points is awarded. But not sure why they a...
