Well, I've just called my embassy here in Beirut. I found out that my documents don't get sent to the UK, they are processed here in the British Embassy in Lebanon, and that I can cancel my application and get my passport back any day I want. So what I'm thinking is, this backlog that you've been me...

the difference between mine and yours is 1 working day, so I'm assuming you have been 30 working days without your passport, is this correct?

I dont care if an application takes 10 years to process.. but how can they keep someone's passport that long...What if I want to travel somewhere for a weekend
