Almost 4 weeks and have not gotten letter to do the BRP

Hi there, I have an enquiry regarding how long the application takes (PSW switching to Tier 2 General) On the "Timeline" topic, it seems that everyone who made their application got a letter to do their Biometrics beteen 10 days to 2 weeks from the date of their application; however, it ha...

Pardon my earlier reply. I had confused the increase for COS allocations for something else.
Can I also know when my start date should be when my employer does the Cos? Should it be on the date my current visa expires (28/1/13) ?

3-4 months? I thought I read somewhere on the forums that it shouldn't take more than 24 hours? What I meant by my question is that my employer currently has the license to issue 1 Cos for the year. If he were to use the SMS to request for the right to issue say 2 more Cos how long will it take for ...

Thank you for your reply. Also, if my employer decides to request for more COS's do you know how long the it would take for him to get it? And lastly, when filling up the details on the COS, what should the end date be?

Period of which to show bank statements: PSW to Tier 2

Hi there when applying for the Tier 2 General permit, how long do I need to show my bank statements for? I am changing from PSW. Do I need to show the statements and payslips for 6 months or has that changed?

Documents to be submitted when making the application forT2G

Hi everyone, I am going to be applying for my Tier 2 General Permit switching from PSW and am confused as to what documents I need to send in after viewing the guidance. Please help me clarify these questions: 1) The guidance asks if I have ever had a BRP. I had one issued to me when I was a student...

I read through the Tier 2 guidance again, it is stated there that I do not have to be qualified for the job in order to work. As long as the job is NQF6 (which it is) and I have the duties listed as part of it then its alright. I am hoping to get more clarity on this.

there is no requirement that you are being paid £20,000 for a certain period before applying as long as the CoS states that your pay will be at or above the appropriate rate. there is no longer a requirement for PSW migrants to be working for an employer for 6 months in order to be exempt from the ...

How long must I be earning £20,000 p/a before applying?

Hi there, I have a quick question I was hoping to get help on. I am currently on the PSW visa and my employer has just registered to be a sponsor.. The thing is, my salary will only increase to £20,000 p/a in June. Does this mean I can only apply for the switch to Tier 2 6 months AFTER I have been e...
