Dear all, My first baby was born before I had got my ILR so I have registered her as British citizen now after getting my ILR. My other baby was born after my ILR so he is automatically entitled to British passport. I am now planning to apply for their British passports but don't know which form to ...

Professional Referee for My 1.5 year Old Daughter

Thanks hsmp_victory.

How about Commissioner for Oaths?
I know they will charge me for this service but they should also be qualified to do so because they are included in the Home Office list of approved referees.

Professional Referee for My 1.5 year Old Daughter

Thanks Glc. So you reckon if I get both the references for my daughter from ordinary people in my neighbour, then they will be acceptable to the Home Office? As mentioned before, she is only a year and half so it would be very harsh if the Home Office stick to their formalities in her case as well. ...

Hi all, I am due to apply for my daughter's British Citizenship on MN1 for under Section 1(3). There is a requirement in section 5 of the application form for two referees to declare child's identity based on the regular contacts of child with these referees. One of the referees has to be a professi...

BC for two children born either side of parents ILR

Hi, I have recently got my ILR and so as my wife who was my dependant. We have one UK born child who was born before our ILR while our second baby is due in the next two months. My understanding is that my first baby is entitled to British Citizenship under Section 3(1) so I need to apply on MN1 for...

WP to ILR (SOC Code Help!)

Hi Sorry I don't agree with tvj on one thing. I am a WP holder and got my ILR last week from Croydon PEO. I had given my own SOC code to HR which they included in my employment letter as this was the best one for my role. Also to mention, I had the same employer throughout my 5 year WP during which ...

ILR Success @ Croydon – 17/08/2012, 190 Days Absences

Thanks palaremzi and tja28.

@tja28- No. I think you have to produce only one certificate. I had seen Life In The UK in the required documents list here on this forum and elsewhere so we both produced our 'Life in the UK' certificates only and the caseworker was ok with that. Hope this clarifies.

Congratulations on your success.
Can you please advise me on your baby's visa. From your post, I can assume that you apply for only one dependant which was your wife. Did you include your daughter in your application or you are planning to register her as british national later on?

Thanks!

Booking multiple PEO appointments??

Hi all, I have booked one PEO appointment at Croydon for my ILR however after reading a number of posts on this forum, it seems that most of these UKBA offices are plagued by some unknown IT issues. An appointment to go for ILR visa is a huge moment in anyone's life and if you go on the day and told...

need to book PEO appointment

Hi Ashokbrt, Are you sure that a person can book two appointments at the same time. At the time of booking my appointment, I was mindful of IT issues in various PEO offices and ideally, wanted to book two appointments. I managed to book one appointment for myself and wife but when I asked the Home O...

Query about Section 6 - Immigration History in SET (O) form

Thanks very much for such detailed answer smam.

Apart from providing an answer to this question in my Set (O) form, I am indeed very clear now on the logic behind this question.

I will certainly share my PEO experience with all following my appointment.
