Hi, Yes I am assuming that because the UKBA policy around 2nd extension is not clear so ultimately it may be up to CW's discretion. I hope I am wrong! Cheers! Most probabbly you will be wrong :) as i mentioned in other thread, as per policy its says whoever got previous or last grant after 06 Apr 2...

from Policy:
We will always use the closing balance
date from the account that most favours the
applicant.

so what i can understand, it should be OK, still check with your bank if they give you a letter. which is one of alternative document.

The question OP had wasn't whether or not overseas earnings can be included in extension application but whether the "uplift ratio" can be used (as was used when applying under this route for the very first time from outside the UK). Sorry, my mistake. uplift ratio is NOT applicable in ca...

haven't checked policy lately, but last year i went for tier-1(General) Extension with part earning from India. As per guidlines, you need to convert Overseas earning through OANDA into GBP to claim earning. following is from old extract, #107 of Tier-1 policy guideline which is: 107. An applicant s...

The consultation principle seems flawed. It doesn't consider the tax + NI contributions of the migrants at all. Especially for Tier 1 General Highly skilled category, most the migrants would be paying more tax + NI than UK average. Also the fact the visa extension charges (for Tier 1) are already v...

Hi, I hold tier1 general visa and currently working in Scotland. Just wanted your views on this. Suppose say after 2014 or 2015 Scotland separates from England, do tier1 immigrants in scotland have to move to england ? I know both governments agree upon some rule with regard to immigrants, but just...

Re: Confirmation of overseas earnings

Don't worry, you should get it. I also got my extension last year with part of earning from India, which was essential for me to claim points. I only provided stamped monthly payslips and indian bank statements. Also, i didn't notice longer processing time compared to other applicants at that point ...

this arrangement should not be a problem, because at time of Tier-1 extension you can show 'overseas' earning for claiming previous earning points. Caveat: same day appointment wont be considered. I applied for Tier-1 extension with part earning from India. Best would be to, try be employee of UK of...
