when is your 5 yr completing via tier-1(general) ? can't you somehow manage to earn more through part-time orsomething to meet earning criteria?
You still got time till April to work out something for sure

@secret.simon others discouraging viewpoints are Asset? really? how? by encouraging to cow down to discriminatory rules? Re: Visa fees and health surcharges

@iubus2005 Sorry there was language problem from my side may be should have explained better. Visa fees cannot be included for any rebate for tax, that is you pay fee from your own pocket and as you said not reimbursed by employer or anyone and this in short cannot be claimed for any kind of tax exe...

Re: Is 10 years ILR rule going to abolish ?

My thoughts are same
Same govt abolished 14 years route as soon as they came to power last time.
But on very slight positive note, lib-dem were not interested in immigration dept in last coalition and complete majority this time won't be added advantage to current Tories.

Re: Tier 1 General Extension - Missed April Deadline

I don't think Tier 1(General) can switch to Tier 1(Entrepreneur). Tier 1 General was meant to be for highly skilled people. That's why the option is there for those that really are highly skilled to switch to Tier 2 General if they didn't use their visa staight away. You can switch to tier 1 entrep...

Re: Tier 1 General Extension - Missed April Deadline

@caheda Trust me I am really sad for your case, and to be brutally honest within existing rules you got no option other than switching to other PBS based visa like tier-2(general) or tier-1(entrepreneur). Right now I highly suggest to talk to solicitors as well as tier-2 sponsersers, and so far you ...

Re: Tier 1 General Extension - Missed April Deadline

@iubus2005 Lawyer will only have win-win here, because he/she can go for profit sharing or no need to share loss, either way lawyer get fees. Amount is fee plus in case we lose and have to pay for counter legal case of wasting time on non winnable review case. Having said so, ukbA doesn't have stron...

@iubus2005
We have tried to bring people under common forum to go after fee/policies, through the FB group.
You are right about numbers are not in favor, as among 250+ people only 14 have committed with funding for judicial review.

Again apologies to everyone and @honey2008 no such intentions.
I would have loved to debate this, but think it's futile to do so that's why will rest my case here.

Re: Tier 1 General Extension - Missed April Deadline

@cr001 and @petaltop I agree to you guys, but I was protesting your attitude of blaming applicants rather than home office. Same fate that home office decided on tier-1 couldn't apply to HSMP applicants. Check history of HSMP and how they never suffered ever increasing fee, and I am not sure but the...

Hi naveed
You got right answers from o'reilly and Akbar
I am curious to know reasons for you to switch from tier 1 to tier 2?
I understand it's pain nowadays to be tier 1 general applicant, but still want to learn from you the reasons and conditions for the switching.
