Letter indicates Tier 1 extension is in ILR queue - problem?

Hi all, I sent in my application to renew my tier 1 visa in June. When I first got my letter of acknowledgement it referred to my application for leave to remain but I didn't think too much about it. I wrote to my MP to ask her to write on my behalf about the delay in processing and their reply lett...

Still going crazy waiting for my extension...

Anyone else? Happy to see the date on the UKBA website is now 30 June, but I got my hopes up when I saw quite a few people who had biometrics done later than that have had approvals.

My biometrics were done 14 July, surely I'll hear in the next few weeks, right?

Thanks so much for the prompt response.

My reading of the guidance is that a letter from my bank (Nationwide) will be sufficient? As I wrote above, I don't get statements for that account unfortunately - I'm not sure why.

Using an e-ISA or term deposit as maintenance

I need to renew my Tier 1 visa within 3 months. Just got a shock when I realised that my savings are in an e-ISA (flexible, can put money in and take it out without penalty at any time) here in the UK and now in a term deposit (as in locked away for 6 months, can take it out but lose the interest) i...
