Did you include photocopies of all your documents as requested in the original application? if so they will have kept these hence they don't need you to resubmit.

While I will admit sushdmehta is a forum moderator and may have a better knowledge of the immigration rules than myself I don't believe he is correct that your appeal will fail. The ECM is allowed to consider additional documents not included in the application. see below the text in bold. APL7.3 Ho...

I think your problem here is your situation is a little unusual and you question is a little unclear, as to what you actually want to know. It seems your paying for the services of an immigration lawyer have you asked him to clarify what the situation is? he should be best placed to know the details...

An ECM review can take just a few weeks but I believe they have upto 16 weeks to conduct the review and decide to go to full hearing or overturn the original decision. Your refusal is a simple point of missing document and providing you have the ability to provide this document that is all you need ...

Do you need a solicitor to appeal? The grounds for refusal are simple and easy to sort, appeal and provide both documents with explanation and this could be overturned at ECM review?

That section states official use only and is for signing by the assessing ECO. I have seen many people state that this needs signing by a solicitor this is not true, its for the ECO.

The ECO will take your lowest earning month of the previous 6 and use this to calculate your income. Hence the minimum you must have earned in any of the months is £1550 before deductions.

Hi the correct way to do it would be via a marriage visit visa, then you wont have any problems in the future with other visa applications. Requirements same as a visit visa with the addition that you intend to marry.

Nothing to worry about .. until the time of extension. Thankyou for the reply. My concern really is that the UKBA states that entrants are required to inform them of any change of circumstance on arrival, or else risk a 10 year ban. I just dont know if they can revoke her visa and refuse her entry ...

But bear in mind you will be asked on the form about previous travel, refusals and removals from the UK. If you lie on any of these questions and are found to have deceived then you will get a 10 year ban from the UK. As you left of your own accord it may be best if you come clean on the application.
