Re: English Language Requirement and UK Masters adgree

I would think Its not exactly clearly explained. My case would fall under: I have obtained an academic qualification deemed by UK NARIC to meet the recognised standard of a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree or PhD in the United Kingdom and: (i) [...] (ii) the qualification was taught or researched in th...

EEA permanent residence?

Hi, Reading the Guide AN, page 15 (excerpt below), it seems to suggest that a certificate or card certifying permament residence is recommended for EEA nationals. Is that so? I always heard that payslips, p60s, bank statements, bills should be fine and not cause any significant delays. Thanks, Mike ...

The way i read this, my children will not have eea rights if they dont hold a uk citizenship. Correct? (I dont have any children for now and my wife is an eu national as well. )

Given i will have dual citizenship, doesnt that mean that my children can have dual citizenship if born in the UK?

Thanks for that. Was getting a bit confused. I think i will wait for the 6 years of employment. It's more straightforward although I did have a non UK ehic when studying and for the 3 months looking for a job. Didn't know it proves anything. But i hope that 6 years of continuous employment with the ...

BC residency requirements

Probably asked a million times. I was under the impression that I need 6 years of employment before applying for British citizenship. Going through the guidelines, I can't find any reference to to that but only to 5 years. (I am an eea national, in the UK since 2005, in full time employment since Ap...

Thanks for that. With regards to documents, while the guidelines say ,including this and that, will I be OK sending just the 5 p60s and a few utilities bills/ bank statements / council tax bills for say every 6 months of the 5 years? I have everything but thought I'd rather not bury them under my pa...

PR certificate before naturalisation?

Hi, I am an EU national (Greek)and I have been in the Uk since oct-05. Studying until Sep 06 then staying with friends for 4 months and since Feb 07 in full time employment. I thought applying for naturalisation now might be difficult due to the 4 months of looking for work in 2006. So thought I'd w...
